Saturday 14 January: Straw's  Bridge/Manor floods area: Mute swans, Canada geese, Mallards, Coots, Moorhens, 3 Great-crested grebes, Tufted ducks, Black-headed gulls, 2 Pochard(1male/1female), 4 Shovelers (3male,1female), small flock of Long-tailed tits, 1 Redwing, Blackbirds, Woodpigeons, Crows, Robins.
Pewitt Carr: Small group Blue/Great tits, 3 Magpies, 1 Kestral (just past on the old railway sidings), 1 Buzzard, 1 Willow tit.
Top of sidings near farm: 2 bullfinches(1male,1female), Pied wagtail 1, Crows, flock of House sparrows, Dunnocks.
Woodside nature reserve: 2 female Bullfinches, 1 Song thrush, 3 Magpies, 2 Robins, a few Blue/Great tits, Blackbird, Crows,
Mapperley reserve hide: 1 fieldfare, 1chaffinch, Blue/Great tits, 2 Coal tits, 2 Robins and Great-spotted woodpecker heard.
Mapperley reservoir: 40+ Canada geese, 3 Greylag geese, Tufted ducks, 3 Great-crested grebes, small flock Long-tailed tits, Robin, Blue/Great tits, 4 Chaffinch, 1 kingfisher.
NCB lagoons: Tufted duck 1 female, 1 Canada goose, 1 Mute swan, Coots, Moorhens, Mallards, 2 Grey herons and 3 Redwings. (SC)

Sunday 25th December: Around Mapperley Reservoir: 20+Goldfinch, 1 Wren, Blue tits/Great tits good numbers in small groups, 1 pheasant, 4 magpie, Wood pigeon numerous, 6 Chaffinch, Fieldfare & Redwing large groups, 3 Great-crested grebe, Tufted ducks small group, numerous Black-head gulls, Moorhens and Coots, 1 Green woodpecker, 2 Cormorants, 15 Goosanders(9 male,6 female), Canada geese small group, 1 Heron, and 1 Kingfisher.

Near Derby Lodge: 2 Nuthatch, Bluetits, Great tits a few, 1 Coal tit, 2 Dunnock, 1 Magpie, 2 Robins, 2 Blackbird, Crows numerous, Fieldfare & Redwing group & 2 Mistle thrushes. (SC)
