Welcome to the Shipley Birdwatchers web site - we are a friendly group based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. If you are interested in wildlife why not come along and enjoy bird and wildlife talks, local walks and our monthly outings to interesting wildlife sites further afield.

Forthcoming Events:

Indoor Meetings: We now meet at Pewit Golf Club, West End Drive, Ilkeston (past the Sports Centre, it is at the end on the right). Meetings begin at 7.30p

21 February,    7.00pm AGM followed by talk: A Counrtymans Journey,    John Keeling

Tuesday Morning Walks: meet at 10am, leisurely walks, approx 2 hours (but there are three all day meetings in the programme).

31 January,        Shipley Park,        meet Mapperley Reservoir cp.

All Day Outings: Members planning to join the outing: Remember to contact Trevor or John by the Thursday evening prior to the outing. An outing may be cancelled or the location changed if there are insufficient members interested.
